Kerens, WV. 4/26/2008. Garret Paugh won his first Mini Wedge feature of 2008 as he bested James Nelson, Scott Perine, Ryan Watson and Kaylee Yokum. Heats to Zak Kimbrew and Watson. Notes: All of the action happened with two laps to go in the feature when the lead cars including Paugh, Nelson, Perine, Watson and Megan Davis came upon the rear of the field. One car got bumped and crossed up and Davis hit this car and was bumped herself. She then went airborne and end over end. She landed upside down in the middle of the track. She was sore from where the belts held her and complained of her ankle but mostly was scared. She was extracted from her car and taken by the ambulance to the Elkins Hospital. Her family said that she was mostly scared. Her Mini Wedge was destroyed on the front and rear and the engine looked to be broken but the roll cage held. Notes: 11 mini wedges tonight. This is the most that we have ever had. ......................................
